Updates

Sorry it has been a bit since my last blog. Hopefully some of you were waiting for me to post something new. I've just been so overwhelmed these past few week with my studies and working. I swear clubs and organizations take up more time in my life than work and school combined! Not that i am complaining or anything, but sheesh sometimes we all just need a break.

Slippery Rock is full of soooooooooooo much excitement! This homecoming had to be the best that SRU has EVER seen. Even though i didn't really get to enjoy it as much as i would like to, but i know that there were the good intentions. Let me just fill you in on our homecoming weekend like no other!

FRIDAY- Day 26 concert (yes i said Day 26! Bad Boy/P.Diddy's group). They came and set the show off! I mean hey whats better than 4 really really realllllllllly cute guys singing to a group of girls NOTHING! Then after the concert my sorority (Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc. Lambda Sigma Chapter) put on the OFFICIAL AFTER PARTY! there were soooooooo many people. I must admit i had lots of fun at our party! Everything went smoothly!

SATURDAY- There was the SRU/Edinboro game (we lost). Not to good but i must say congrats to Andrew DeRiggi and Kendra Potsubay for making SRU's Homecoming King and Queen. There was also the Blue and White Cookout! Hosted by Zeta Phi Beta and Phi Beta Sigma! The food was soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo good! I cant wait for next year! Oh there was also a Black Actions Society Party that was packed to maximum capacity! I don't really like when parties are too packed like that one but i did enjoy taking lots of pictures for facebook!

SUNDAY- Not SRU related but there was a STEELER'S game! WOO HOO!!

WELL that was my homecoming weekend in a nutshell. We have a lot of other thing in store for this semester! You'll never guess who is coming here at the end of NOVEMBER..... GYM CLASS HERO'S....I'm semi excited for this concert. I only know like 1 maybe 2 songs but hey! that's all you need in a concert to have fun right?

Back to work I go...life is full of surprises!

Quick Points!!

Let's see...where shall I begin? This is all new to me honestly. I'm always up for a challenge. Whether its blogging to tasting a new food. That's just me. I am currently at work in the University Union Center for Student Involvement and Leadership! AKA B-105! I'm not going to make this one all drawn out just have a few quick things to say!

1) This is going to be a GREAT year for me! I have a lot in store for myself! Like making the Dean's list (hopefully), Going on a few trips (if funds permit lol), and a few other surprises!

2.) How about those Steelers!!!! WOOOOO!! Sorry Browns fans! Better luck NEVER! LOL

3.) I was without power for 3 days! IDK how people do it! I honestly felt homeless! My food went bad there was a loose hamster running through out my house (my roommate has 7 of them!!) So imagine looking out for hamster in the DARK a challenge right? SO not funny at all but i can laugh now because we caught them!

4.) I ran out of things to write so i guess I'm done!
